BuildFlow SMS Consent (Verbal Opt-In)

BuildFlow is used by general contractors to coordinate job schedules with subcontractors using text messages.

Verbal Opt-In

Subcontractors provide verbal consent before any SMS messages are sent.

Verbal Consent Script

When Consent Is Obtained

Consent is obtained during job coordination with the general contractor, either over the phone or in person, before BuildFlow sends any automated job-related text messages. The general contractor reads the consent script below to the subcontractor and receives verbal confirmation that they agree to receive SMS messages related to job scheduling and coordination.

Script for GC to read to subcontractor:

"Do you consent to receive job scheduling and coordination text messages from BuildFlow on behalf of [GC Name]? Message frequency may vary based on job activity. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. We will not share your mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Do you agree, yes or no?"

If the subcontractor says Yes:

"By saying yes, you agree to receive transactional text messages related to job scheduling and coordination from BuildFlow on behalf of [GC Name]. Message frequency may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help."

Confirmation SMS sent automatically after consent:

"You have agreed to receive job scheduling and coordination messages from BuildFlow on behalf of [GC Name]. Msg freq may vary. Std msg and data rates apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help."
